What we collect
- Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to The ShopFloor Brief, we collect your email address. It is stored and the newsletter is sent using Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider. Kit may record whether emails are delivered, opened or clicked so we can tell what's useful. See Kit's privacy policy.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Other forms. The "Submit a tool" and "Get featured" forms are not connected yet and do not store anything.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your email address.
- We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site right now. If that changes, we'll update this page.
Affiliate links
Some links to vendors may be affiliate links. If you click one, the vendor or affiliate network may set its own cookie to credit us for a purchase. See our affiliate disclosure.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect right away.
- To ask us to delete your email address or any other data, reply to any newsletter email.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
